Beauty interview with Alexandra Fryda : « Beauty emits a vibratory frequency. It has an energy. »

For Alexandra, Beauty is expressed in her daily life and her work with women, through yoga and through her warm generosity. Her eyes shine with kindness. This is a woman who knows where she’s going and how she’s going to get there. She is following her path to happiness, and she shares it with us gladly. We hope that this interview will give you a glimpse.

Can you tell us about the last time Beauty helped you or healed you?

It was in my bath, and it was the last New Moon. I’d created a wonderful bath ritual. I added some bath salts and peony petals (I had a beautiful bouquet on my table in the living room, and the petals were starting to fall off, so I took them), some rose quartz, and geranium essential oil . It was amazing, so beautiful to look at. I felt like a goddess in my bath and it did me so much good.

How do you bring more Beauty to the world?

I would say by taking care of details and paying attention to little things. Sometimes, it takes very little to bring more Beauty to our world, such as lighting, music, a fragrance, or cutting some flowers. It’s in the little details.

If I say Beauty, what do you think of?

I think of Nature and the ocean, of the magnificent Iguazu Falls, of moments of communion with Nature. Nature gives us the most magnificent spectacles, and Beauty immediately makes me think of that.

Do you believe that Beauty will save us? How?

That’s a good question! If we agree on the fact that Beauty can help us, can make us feel good, and that Beauty is a universal energy that opens hearts, then I think it could save us. It’s only natural that we should look for Beauty and create beautiful things. Little by little, there’s a good chance that it can save us, and I sincerely hope it will!

Do you remember the first thing that amazed you as a child?

I remember as a child, when we lived in Africa, there was a lagoon opposite us, and every morning I would watch the sunrise. It was an absolutely incredible, heavenly spectacle in the sky. Every day, the colors were different. As a child, this was something that left a big impression on me. I loved the idea of seeing it every morning, before going to school. It was a beautiful ritual – we would get up early, with the sun.

Where does Beauty hide? Can it be found in the most ordinary things?

Beauty is often hidden in the present moment. It can be in places where you don’t expect it to be. It’s magical. There’s this sort of aesthetic harmony that is created somewhere you didn’t expect it.

What is your motto or philosophy in life to make you feel beautiful and fulfilled?

Dance with the seasons, the energies of the seasons. There are days when you feel beautiful and fulfilled, and others when you don’t, and feel tired. But there is Beauty in that. The seasons are different, just as our energies are. You need to know how to dance with this rainbow of emotions. That’s my motto, and that’s what enables me to feel fulfilled. I accept all these colors in my life – and not just in me, but in others too.

What feeling does Beauty arouse in you? Could you describe it?

Usually, when I feel this energy of Beauty… For me, Beauty emits a vibratory frequency. It has an energy. When I feel it, I get a lump in my throat, and I feel this ball of warmth around my heart, in the middle of my chest. It’s like something contracts, and then there’s this feeling of release.
